time of recession

I heard news of lay off and cost cutting from more than one media organization. We wrote so many news about economic slowdown but now we media people are also feeling the heat. let's hope that new year may bring end to this recession. 

enjoying sickness

Fever visited me after almost 10 years. Actually, I never had fever since I shifted to vadodara. I have took 3 days leave because of this sickness. I enjoyed this time in surfing internet, reading diwali special edition of Gujarat weekly and viewing tv.

 one question that is constantly engaged my mind this days is my inaction. I want to do so many creative things. I want to write something creative. I want to reshape my career. Infact, I am reached at a certain stage and now I could do many things. But, my inaction give me immense pain and displeasure. why I could not step forward ?

old friedns

I talked with Tejas Vajani after so long time. He was my batch mate with others are Mugdesh, Satyam, Kinnari, Maunas and Dinesh. Tejas is now a teacher at Viramagam. 

Actually , year 2008 became my year of regaining lost contact of old friends. Mugdesh, Satyam, Tejas, Nutan, Kruti  from HK and also Ashis, Jairam and Dilip and Soni Ashish , Ritesh Panwar, Hemant Panwar , Sandip Patil  met of talked with me in this year after so many long years.  I can talk with them without the burden of feeling as an editor or journalist or as person who is 35 years old. I can share  same masti and lots of memories with them.

Everyone is settled in one's life. Mugdesh is LIC officer. Satyam is working with a bank. Nutan, Kinnari, Maunas , Tejas all have became teachers. Both Ashish from Naroda and Jairam are in their family business. Dilip has started a restaurant. Hemant is bust in packaging industry and Ritesh is doing some designing work. Sandip is with GHCL.

I always like to talk with all of them. They know what I am actually . They know my strength and weaknesses.  

I also met Jawalnt in this year after so many years. He came to my office also. We know each other since our primary education days. 

9 years in vadodara

Hi Friends,

I have completed 9 years in Vadodara on this 11th october. I could remember that I came to 

Vadodara on my Bajaj Legend scooter from Ahmedabad. I had have a simple bag and bedding. I drove almost 12o kms.  my first residence in Vadodara is a bachelor hostel in Alkapuri area, my room number was 15. It was a very small room. One boy from Surat was my room mate. Though, we met after so long time and he did not stay longer. After that, Niraj from Bhavanagar became my roommate. We had a group of Kathiavadi boys there. I can remember Manish, Nirav , Jigneshand Sanjay all of them. Later on, Ashwin from Ahmedabad and Suketu from Navapur also became good friends of mine. 

My another residence in Vadodara was at gulabvatica society, tandalja. Actually It was a large bungalow owned by Niraj's employer. Nirav, Ashwin, Jignes, Manish and myself went there together. It was a lucky home for all of us. I got engaged soon after we went there. Ashwin and Jignes, Niraj and Nirav also got engaged during that time.

After engagement I took a rented flat at New Sama road. The name of apartment is Srusti Flats.  I started my married life with Khyati from that flat. So, there were very special and memorable days for us.

From August-2002 onwards We moved to  Subhanpura.
